Do you think it's possible that the metric isn't how badly someone has been hurt, but what behavior has been rewarded or punished in their life?

Assuming the most hurtful people have been especially traumatized, then let's also assume we have two types of people in the world who are especially traumatized: indecent and decent ones. It's just an offhand guess, but do you think maybe the traumatized indecents are people who consistently or in some other way that seriously stuck, were taught by their experiences that indecency pays, or that decency doesn't pay?
